The Yost 905-AS is a cast steel bench vise with 5” jaw width and a 5” jaw opening. Cast Steel has a tensile strength of 50,000 PSI which makes these bench vises much more durable than traditional cast iron bench vises. Additionally, the increased strength of the castings allows the vise to clamp parts with greater force than traditional cast iron vises. Paired with the serrated machinist’s jaw, this extra clamping force means parts will not move around while you are working on them. The bar of the vise is machined to provide smooth operation. Built in pipe jaws allow this vise to grip pipe with ease.
