Dietary

Today starts my new diet: Middle Paleo. That's why scholars believe fire was discovered!

I know, I know, there's still a debate if the "paleo" diet actually can help anyone. But I'm pretty sure it can, assuming one sticks to the Middle Paleo rituals on a daily basis. That's why I bought me a Landmann Campfire grill, and a few acres of woods with a cave on the property.

See, evidence shows that homo erectus (a.k.a. paleo humans) discovered fire about 1.9 million years ago. And what else was going on around that time? You got it! Bone tools, primitive trading economies, and lots of walking. Why, just yesterday I spent a whole day hunting a steak that I had my friends hang out the window of their car! Whew! What a workout that was! And when I got it back to my Landmann, it was the best steak I'd ever eaten. Not counting the next one I'm going to have tomorrow. Mmm. It'll be my first meal in three days.

Oh, right. You probably didn't know that food was sometimes scarce back then! Just like you didn't know how long it takes to make a spear, and about the occasional migrations, and... well, whatever. We all know it was the diet that kept them thin, right? That's why I'm losing weight while running from wild bees, and why everything tastes so good after it's been cooked on my Landmann Campfire Grill.

I know, I know, they didn't have grills at the dawn of man. Call it a modified Middle Paleo, okay?
