Features
Having just the right amount of calcium is essential to the health of your swimming pool. Too little calcium will erode plaster, cause etching of pool surfaces, and accelerate corrosion. Calcium Hardness raises the hardness level of your swimming pool water. The ideal range for calcium hardness is 200 to 400 ppm. If your calcium hardness tests below the desired range when you use a pool test strip, add Calcium Hardness. The application of 1.2 lbs. of Calcium Hardness in a 10,000 gallon pool will increase your pool water's hardness by 10 ppm.
