During a power outage, the power outage detector can be unplugged and used to activate the lights from wherever you are. It sends an instant signal to lights up to 70 feet away. That can span more than a 2,500-square-foot house. The MB785 path light brightly lights up to 8 steps and 15 feet of hallway. The MB985 ceiling light provides 150 square feet of coverage in any room. Both the path and ceiling lights provide 40 hours of light before a battery change is needed. This is an expandable system with a power outage detector that will control up to 10 lights.
