While this cover is lighter and easier to handle than standard pool covers, it is twice as strong. New tear resistant RIPSHIELD technology prevents punctures from expanding into significant tears. This cover includes a five-foot overlap, making this cover easier to secure to your pool than other pool covers. Please order a larger size cover if you have steps protruding from your pool. The green topside of this cover is coated to prevent damage caused by the sun's ultra-violet rays and the bottom side is black to prevent algae growth. The Robelle Next-Generation RIPSHIELD Titan Pool Cover features premium dual-interlocking layers. Super-premium 11 x 9 scrim. Super-premium polyethylene weighs 3.6 oz./yd2. Super-premium quality water bag loops are placed every four feet. Premium grommets are sewn into the water bag loops and at each corner. The Robelle Next-Generation RIPSHIELD Titan In-Ground Swimming Pool Cover includes a twenty-year warranty.
