Hang each repeller in an outdoor location that receives a full 8 hours of sunlight to ensure that the battery charges. The hanging height needed depends on the type of animal that will be repelled. Hang at 8' or higher to ward off flying predators, at 4' to ward off deer, 2' to ward off large animals like coyote, or 1' to ward off small animals like raccoons.
