The ZeroWater ZR-017 Water Filter Replacement Cartridge comes with combined ZeroWater technologies making this the only filtered water that meets urified bottled water.standards. Equipped with a patented 5-Stage Dual-In Exchange Filtration System, the process includes: (Stage 1) Activated carbon-infused micron cloth, (Stage 2) Multi-layer system using activated carbon and oxidation reduction alloy, (Stage 3) Distributor to maximize contact, (Stage 4) Comprehensive ion exchange array and (Stage 5) Non-woven membrane to help remove fine particles. The ZeroWater ZR-017 Filter Cartridge helps to remove practically all dissolved solids from your tap water such as lead, mercury, chlorine taste, unpleasant odors, chromium, aluminum, zinc and nitrate. To help keep water bottles from being thrown in landfills or the trash, ZeroWater offers a recycling program for their gravity filter cartridges, currently applicable to only U.S. customers. Installation is quick and easy.
