Design Intent: ZOYI wanted to create a truly intelligent multimeter, so our engineers used the ZT-S6 model as a prototype to design the ZT-S6+. We aimed for this product’s electronic component recognition feature to assist entry-level electronic engineers in completing their work more effectively, while ensuring that beginners using a multimeter would have no issues. Actual Experience: As a ZOYI employee who had the privilege of getting this instrument before most others, I’d like to share my subjective perspective on this device. Drawback: The most significant drawback of this instrument is its slowness. Unlike manual range multimeters, it cannot provide data rapidly. However, as I mentioned in the design intent, this meter is intended for electrician novices and those who haven’t used a multimeter before. So, who really minds the slower speed? Advantage: It can indeed automatically recognize the electronic components you want to measure, determine their range, and display the data. Achieving these features at such an affordable price is truly remarkable. Additionally, it allows manual switching between measurement modes, making its speed comparable to auto-ranging multimeters.
