Ridges on it to help it cut. Tough stuff. Lasts much longer than the last stuff I bought and the line that came with the trimmer.Will be a repeat customer.

My trimmer wouldn't feed with this on the spool. The ridge held it in I think. Worked again with regular round line. This is strong and tough but I had to manually feed it out every 5 minutes. Years ago I tried the same thing.
