Why didn't I just buy the full cover?

This is probably the highest quality license plate frame you can find. I went through a progression: 1) took off the dealer plate frame; 2) realized how ugly the raw plate looked, so I got this; 3) was pleased with how it was made and looked, 4) got another one for the front plate but decided to spend the extra few bucks to get the total cover version; 5) loved the complete cover; 6) wondering why the hell I didn't get the complete cover the first time.

A great license plate frame but is it worth the cost?

This is the fourth ClearFrame that I have bought. Let me be clear, it's an extremely well made, high quality license plate frame. For my new car, I considered different metal frames, silicon frames, metal that is backed by silicon, but all seemed to have issues, especially in the Red color. My other three ClearFrames have held up (one went over 10 years), not a scratch on them, no cracks, and no fade in color. So why only 3 stars? To be honest, $40 is a heck of a lot of money to spend on a license plate frame. And for the price we paid, you would think that the screw covers would be the same color of the frame, not just black for every color. So, is it an amazing frame? Yes. Is it worth $40? It was for me but that's the big question to ask yourself before buying this.
