By Eric Senteno on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2025
I do t want to jinx myself but I haven’t gotten any tickets with it. My daughter got a ticket but she didn’t have it turned on at the time and now is kicking herself.

Product is not worth buying

Product didn’t last long rode home in the rain last night and it doesn’t work anymore. By time you figure cost of product and add about 150.00 for installation and 30.00 for bracket I’m out close to 500.00.

I’ve had my radar detector on my Kawasaki for five years still works.

With the proper mounting brackets this is a good fit on my Harley Road Glide. I haven't used this yet, but other reviews were promising. Not overly sensitive and can be adjusted to prevent false alarms. Has attachments for extra bluetooth audio warning and comes with a separate visual warning light. Not too hard to install if you can follow directions and handy with tools. I'm using the brake reservior mounting bracket and routed all the wiring thru the fairing. Attached a separate power switch on the dashboard for a clean install. Happy with this purchase and would recommend.

I thought it was the unit but it was the light indicator that wasn’t working I had to pay an additional fee to have it redone. I’m PISSED
If you ride "assertively"... get this!!

Yes, I have a couple of motorcycles. Yes, I routinely exceed the speed limit, sometimes I exceed the speed limit by more than a factor of ... ok... and while I live in a state where lane splitting/filtering is not yet legal, I sometimes engage in this gray activity so I actually get home and don't melt in the process while all the folks in their Audi's, Volvo's and Toyota Priuses sit comfortably a/c'd for hours in traffic! This unit (and its predecessor) have saved me too many times to count from potential hours at the side of the road being counseled on safe motorcycle operation (harassed) and cited (fined until I have no more money) for speeding. Since I have a couple of bikes, I simply and easily switch the unit by unplugging the pigtail and sliding it out of the mount and reversing the same on the other bike. Takes 20 seconds-tops. The audio is pretty useless... not because of any design issue, but because even plugged into the sound circuit that is pumping music into my earbuds, it is not loud enough to evoke a response faster than the LEDs... The trick is to mount the LEDs where they shine in your eye whether you are looking at them or not... it's amazing... you will really notice them when they go off!! Kinda like the flashing blue and red lights in your rearview mirrors you are really not looking at but catch your attention... too late! This unit helps you AVOID that!! No citations for three years... YEA!

Only works on active radar guns. Does not alert to patrol cars driving by so a waste of money.
