Dependable operation and great "RF" remote

I purchased this lock to replace another keypad lock that had an IR remote (ie you must be in line of site with the outside of the lock to operate via remote) The reason I purchased this unit was so I could lock and unlock my front door from the second story of my home. The remote works great from about 30ft away and does not need line of site which is great. My old lock often got stuck or failed to lock the door, however I have owned this lock for 8 months and it has operated flawlessly since it was installed. Installation was quick and painless and programming the lock was easy to do as well. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a dependable lock that is easy to operate and who is looking for remote control that doesn't need to "see" the lock from the outside.

A little frustrated...

I am between a 2 and a 3 star due to it working fine the first few trials after installation. Then it would make the sound, a whining and then not lock or unlock. The keypad flashes a lighted 2 and 3 (not sure if this is an error code) Has anyone else had this problem? I sent an email with a video attached to the company and I am waiting for a response. The installation was pretty easy and went well, just not working as a "keyless" lock. At the moment, I have to use the key to lock and unlock the device. Thanks!
