Good Directors Brass Hose Pot Lid

I have the base for this lid that has weathered very well. I am glad that I purchased the lid because is looks good on the pot when the hose is stored. The base and lid don't match, but I don't believe anyonehas noticed.

The lid is bright teal blue, not green verde to match the pot. The lid is misshapen (oval vs. round) and does not fit the pot, even though it was purported to do so, i.e. same brand (and same color). We bought it to keep water out of our "matching" hose pot...but since it doesn't fit, there is a huge gap around 1/4 of the pot. It doesn't fit over the rim of the pot (due to being misshapen) and requires acumen to even get it to balance on top. Again, the color is horrible.
