TotalPond Corrugated Tubing, 3/4"

Using this product in a hydroponic gardening set-up.I like it so far - been using for 6-8 months.It's much more stiff than thinner tubing (like clear poly hardware store stuff), so it won't kink, but also wont turn sharp corners ;)Not perfect but a good value, and there's not really many options ...It's spiral wrapped with a non-wire reinforcement,so it is possible for tears to occur along the spiral if the hose is stressed in just the wrong way.Since it's less flexible than common vinyl tubing, it is more difficult to fit onto fittings,and there is more chance that there is a leak, requiring the use of hose clamps in many cases.It is nearly impossible to 'stretch' this tubing to fit over a larger fitting..even after warming up the end in hot water...I cut it with large tin snips..
