Great value
By icemanmase on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2020
I broke 2 quick change drill bits from my larger Craftsman set, and I was able to pick up this small set for the same price I would have paid for the 2 individual replacements. On top of that, I get a hard storage case, a Speed Lock bit holder to put in one of my backup drills, and several other random bits (that I will probably never need, but oh well). The bits are better quality than you would expect at this price point, but obviously they aren’t industrial grade or anything. This is a great value. I would highly recommend it.

Speed-Lok Fast Changer Has Wobble
By JJohnstone on Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2019
I bought 3 of these. I only wanted the Speed-loks.. Unfortunately, the hex slot is off center on all three of them which causes a lot of wobble with drill bits or hex driver heads. They're usable, but the wobble is a pain and shouldn't be there. Craftsman used to be good, but sadly, not anymore.Craftsman tools are made in China now, so the quality is just like Harbor Freight's. The drill bits have machine grease all over them, so they have to be cleaned before they are used. That's another Chinese signature. These are made by machine. How hard is it to do random quality checks to make sure the machine putting the hex slot in is centered? Well, it's easy if you care.Update: 9-15-19 The DEWALT DW2513 rapid loaders came in. Unfortunately, they have a lot of wobble in them also. I have older versions of the Craftsman speed lok's, and they don't have any wobble at all. I don't have any of the Dewalt's for comparison. Wobble causes the bit to jump out of the screw head more frequently and to drill out of round holes. I guess there aren't any good quality quick bit holders out there any more. Tool quality has dropped across the board with so much being made in China with cost cutting the main goal--not quality.Update: 6-2020 I finally found a speed-lok that works. It's the DEWALT DWAIRDG IR Drive Guide. It is the same as an old one that I had that I liked, but the Dewalt name had rubbed off so I didn't know which brand it was. Amazing so many of these are poorly made. I bought a couple extra DEWALT DWAIRDG IR Drive Guides in case the quality on these drops off like the others.
