3M Headlight Lens Restoration System

I used this kit on a 2006 Honda Pilot that had cloudy, scratched lenses that were interfering with night vision. Follow the directions and you should get excellent results like I did. The headlights look brand new! Also, don't be daunted by the massive instruction sheet - it's really just mostly doing the same thing several times with different grades of sand paper. The main things to remember are: use the included 3M tape to tape off the paint around the headlights so you don't scratch your paint; stick the appropriate grade sandpaper to the included sanding disc (it's best to use a corded electric drill - battery operated ones probably won't last for the entire job); use even, steady pressure and be sure to completely sand the entire surface of the lens with multiple passes until it looks uniformly "cloudy" at each step. That's pretty much it...the lens will look "worse" after the first step because it will appear "frosted", but it will lighten at each step until it is sparkling clear! Best value for my investment in quite a while!
