Red Lion 97101001 Sprinkler Pump

We received the pump. It was installed and worked at first, but then the next day to water the next part of the yard it would not turn on. This was a replacement pump for our 35 year old pump. My husband could find no reason for the failure. Amazon said it was not refundable. It was disconnected and taken to an irrigation place for diagnoses for a $50.00 charge. Faulty valve? We paid over $399.00 for this pump and now it’s on sale. I wonder why. As I write this review, the pump is being worked on. All wiring is new, pump size is fine, every thing has been gone over with no water flow to sprinklers. It’s been primed, nothing blocking water intake, connected correctly. Do not buy online. Pump purchase should be made at your local big box store or irrigation store where they stand by their products.
