Surprised me!! (updated)
By Canopus on Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2020
Well, I had a corded one for a while. I "cut the cord" accidently. It was always a pain to drag the cord around, and you had to have more than one. The cost of the trimmer plus two good cords adds up. I say this, with a trimmer, charger, and battery are not to far from the same price. I choose this brand because of the price range. There is another out there but it was twice the cost, (although a great unit). For my first all electric, I choose this one. It comes in a large cardboard box, and within it, is another holding the unit. Easy to remove, and not much too it. The battery was partially charged, but I went ahead and charged it. The set up instructions were confusing, saying to add screws here and their, but everything was already assembled. I used it for the first time yesterday. I actually read the instructions. The main thing to remember is to keep the battery charged, (saves battery life and the efficiency of the battery). I used it on a LONG row of hedges. The first thing I noticed that I didn't have to unstrand TWO lengths of extension cords and drag them around so I can do the job. All I did was ensure the battery was charge, slap the battery in, and off to work I go. Even with the battery, it was not heavy, a little light. The blade length and performance were far superior to my old one. I was trimming for about an hour when I finished, and still had a charge left. It advertises 3/4 inch max cut, and this did close to that, but I would not push it. I did clean it , and is was NOT hot when I put it away. I would recommend this, and if not this one just the principle of a battery charged one. SOOOOO much easier and more efficient then the wired up one. We will see how long it lasts. Bought this in 2000, it is now DEC 2022. Still works as if new. Bought a second battery, which is perfect for my use. Has never failed, still sharp, still trims the hedges.

Bad battery pack with this order!

The battery pack will not charge on the charger that was supplied with the hedge trimmers. How do I get a replacement battery pack? The charger seems to charge other battery packs that I have already purchased.
