Inconsistencies out of the box

This generator was crucial. I needed it to run my RV while I waited to have electric installed on my land and AZ heat was nudging 100-degrees. I was excited to get it, and it was downhill from there. First, there were no support braces to hold the generator still inside the box. It was supposed to have three. When we began to assemble the wheels we realized the axle and other parts were missing. Upon inspection I saw that one hose to the air filter had been broken off. Duromax customer service sent another package of wheel parts. They said the air filter hose didn't matter. (Really? Then why have it?) They said one support brace sometimes isn't used in the box. When I told them there were none they said nothing. The manual (pg 14) says I was supposed to receive a 240-plug head. There was none in the box. Add $22 to the cost. The generator ran for three days before it began to surge and turn off. I have done everything suggested, including changing the oil. (No where in the manual does it say to change the oil after 4-5 hours, but that's what customer service said was their break-in period.) It didn't fix the problem. This generator has been one disappointment after another. This is not the review I had hoped to write. I ordered this gen from Amazon because time was of the essence and I love Prime. After much research I chose this one. Nightmare.
