Heavy
By Brian D. on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2021
This is a heavy drill motor. Wouldn't want to have to drill with this for 8 hrs. Like that it is chuckless (no key) and the extra weight does help in maintaining a true hole. Needed an electric as I didn't want to keep changing batteries all the time. Extra long cord comes in handy as well. So far is doing great. No complaints

Cannot recommend their 3/8" keyless chuck
By Engineer, Deep Thinker on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2015
This review is for a model that does not look exactly like this but is a Craftsman 3/8" drill with the keyless Chuck. The center of the Chuck jaws appears to be about 1/32" off center from the chuck so any bit installed in the chuck spins eccentrically. As a result, hole sizes are drilled oversized and screw driver bits strip out the screw heads. I was going to buy a replacement chuck for the drill but found, so I removed the old chuck. Upon doing so, I found that there was a lot of "slop" between the male threads on the drill motor shaft and the female threads in the chuck. With the thread fit so far out of tolerance, it is impossible to tighten the chuck on center with the center of the drill motor shaft.
