Wiha 32981 Insulated Pliers/Cutters Set, 3pc

I was looking forward to getting these, especially the long-nosed and diagonals. Sadly, 2 out of the 3 in the set had defects (see photos), so I am sending the set back for an identical replacement set. We'll see if that is any better. (Update 2/22: replacement set did not have the cutter nick issues, but combo pliers still had that weird semi-curved end.) Combination pliers: As others have noted, there is a weird curved concave gap in what should be the flat part near the tip of the pliers on one of the jaws, and a very slightly convex(!) matching surface on the other jaw. I held the closed cutting area over a flashlight to spot any defects in the blade joining area, and saw two areas of light shining through. Diagonal cutters: These seemed generally good, except for a defect near the base of the blade joining area (light shining through in photo). Long-nosed pliers: These were fine, and had no defects letting light shine through the closed cutting area.
