Vacuum the crap out of everything: matress, box springs, spray them well, then when dry hours later or we waited overnight, then bag'em baby, * then coasters to make your bed an island!!!!!! ->> guess what, busted the bugs, and they dwindeled as the days went on. I wanted to love these. But I can't

I wanted to love these. But I can't. The size is nice. The color blends better with my carpet and color light enough to do daily checks. I have carpeting so based on reviews I went to Michael's craft store for thin pieces of wood to place underneath to prevent breaking through. So far so good there. BUT.. My chair, couch and bed legs slip in them. Two are wood legs and bed is metal legs with plastic on very bottom. I'm constantly checking and moving the legs so they don't touch the sides. A real pain. I'm fortunate to not have infestation and have these as proactive to ensure no bugs. However, I don't like that the inner well wall has steps to outer wall. Which means if bugs were on bed they could crawl and fall into outer well and you would then think bugs were trying to get to bed and would not know they were already on bed. Granted the steps would only work one way and new bugs from room would not get to bed. But you just would not determine where bugs came from like they advertise. All four boxes I purchased were the same so it was not a fluke in design.
