Excellent screen - worth every penny
By Nicki Heskin on Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2015
This is a great screen! Be aware, it is massive. Like really huge, but it is surprisingly easy to use. We bought this to show movies outside on our newly remodeled pool deck. We did big calculations on where to put the projector and where to put the screen to see from all areas of the deck and decided that we wanted to project from about 25 feet away so it was going to take a big screen. We toyed about with the idea of a DIY screen just because the cost seemed high, but we worried we'd never get it to work and the costs of a frame and parts would add up. This was totally worth every penny. It is well made, well packaged and easy to put together. Everything you need is included except we purchased 4 sandbags from home depot and filled them with rocks to weigh the feet. These sandbags plus two of the included tie lines (one tied to a wall and one using the excellent metal stakes also included) were more than enough to keep what could be a giant windsail completely stable and safe on a breezy evening. We had no problems with creasing as reported in reviews of many screens. We received this at 7 pm on a Friday night and were watching a movie by 8. It took about 15-20 minutes to set up and that's only because it was our first time. I will say it was also surprisingly easy to put away. I was expecting the screen to be a nightmare to refold, but with two people taking slight care and smoothing each fold it fit easily back in the drawstring bag we took it out of, folded just like new. Then that bag fits inside the case (with attached, water-resistant instructions - brilliant) with the legs and voila, easy storage. I couldn't be happier we decided to go with this screen. It's also worth noting that this is one of the only ones we saw that allows both front projection but with a backing to ensure a great image but then with that backing removable for rear projection. We haven't tried the rear projection yet, but plan to test that soon. The image was fantastic with our epson projector. Highly recommend and will be using often this summer.

REAR PROJECTION LOSES PICTURE BRIGHTNESS & QUALITY!
By Jason Guerra on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2017
When I got my 144 screen the bag it came, the zipper was broken. (not a big deal) An issue I had was the frame holes & the pegs did not align on the bottom half of the screen. (could of been fixed with some custom drill holes) The HUGE reason I was unhappy with this screen was I bought it with the sole purpose of REAR PROJECTION. When you put your projector behind this screen the image loses so much of its picture quality! From the front this screen is awesome but rear projection is not good at all. You can see the image but it very dull. The thick material really prevents light from getting through it. So I was gonna use this to DJ music videos on at school dances & private parties but I gave it best case scenario with the lights comeplety off with just the projector on from the rear projection spot & (3100 Lumen Short Throw Optoma) it was not bright whatsoever. Take a look at the pic... Again, from the front, front projection, this screen is very good, but not a quality rear projection screen at all. The screen is made up of really tuff material & the frame (other than my holes being off) was pretty solid & easy to put together too. Hope this helps...
