I would not recommend this soil for African violets

I would not recommend this soil for African violets for 2 reasons. First, it contains a lot of large pieces of wood that I am constantly removing. This might be OK for large plants but not for African violets. Second, when I open the bag (even now) little bugs have been flying out, even though it has been folded over and sealed with a clip.
