Brown Plastic Under Eave Vent

great item, rugged, low profile, works great.

It is nearly impossible to find a vent like this anywhere. It is low profile and works perfectly. Beware that the OUTSIDE diameter is 4 inches, not the inside as you will find with most other vents. This means any dryer ducting will attach on the outside, and not on the inside as it should. Metallic duct tape will help keep it sealed and avoid leaks.

this works so well in the over hang of the house for the air vent to the basement, when the old vent thur the ridge board had to be moved.

Product was hard to install without some bend in it. Constructed of very flexible plastic so even inserting a screw at an angle can bend the product resulting in a poor seal.

Used this to vent my bathroom exhaust out of the soffit. Check valve is OK, but doesn't want to close after use. I'd say 6 out of 10 for build quality, it works but not 100%. On par with if not better form the junk at Lowes or Homer D. Poe. It was brown (which seemed hard to fine)

The sleeve of this vent SHOULD slide easily into 4" ductwork. It does not. It's a bit too large. In my case, 2 hours of poking, prodding, coaxing, lubricating, flaring, chamfering, etc. were to no avail. I cannot attach the vent to the duct coming from my exhaust fan. I am bewildered as to how something so simple can be made so difficult.

I used this Lambro 143B vent hood to replace the existing under eave vent for our second floor bath fan/light combo. The bath fan is rated at 50-CFM, so this 4-inch vent hood is more than adequate for the volume of air flow. This vent has a built in flapper to help prevent insects, cold air and drafts from entering the ductwork when the fan is not running. The brown color also blends with our house trim color much better than the old white vent did.

Purchased two units. One was fine. The other one was poorly fitted. The flapper, once open, would stay open after the fan was off. Had to trim away some plastic with a razor blade to fix.

Nice to find in the brown color. The little flapper looks like it will be great, as I can get it to open by just blowing lightly through the top. Should not restrict airflow at all, which is what I was a bit worried about with the 90 degree bend & round to smaller rectangular outlet.
