Craftsman Known for Quality
By Scott Brooks on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2019
Wrenches are of good quality and of a complete selection. Sears would back their warranty on tools that if they broke you could get a free replacement. I don't know if that is currently possible since Sears has suffered bankruptcy problems and has closed stores around the nation.

Fraudulent Advertising
By David C. Bradley on Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2014
This 12 pc standard 12 pt wrench set says "made in usa" on the Amazon page. But the page does not show the package, just the wrenches. And it does not list any item number.Having received it, the wrenches are in the package, and the package clearly shows that the item number is 9_47046. The package also says MADE IN CHINA.This is a nifty trick: strip away any evidence that gives away the country of manufacture when you advertise it, and simply claim it's made in the USA. It's not Amazon's trickery, it's the scum at Zootropica. But Amazon is pocketing part of the profit. In any case, regarding wrench set 9_47046, one might call Amazon's page "misleading." That wouldn't be incorrect. Nor would it be incorrect to call it a federal offense. The FTC gets very touchy when someone says "made in USA" and that happens not to be true. That's why federal law prohibits it. I wonder if the geniuses at Zootropica know this.Still, out of the millions of products sold by Amazon, this is probably the only time when someone has lied about the country of manufacture.I'm just kidding. One can only imagine how often it happens. I recently ordered another set of wrenches, metric in this case (8 pc metric 12 pt wrenches from Bullseye Network). The ad page says Made in USA. But, I just realized, the package is not shown, and no item number is listed. I have no way of verifying that they are USA-made.If these arrive on my doorstep with the label Made in China, I'm going to be pretty unhappy. I'm also going to ponder how many others have been scammed this way, what is the total difference in cost for the real USA products versus the imported versions, translate this to how much has been stolen from customers, sum that over ten years or so, and see where it goes.Good companies don't lie to loyal customers. I saw an ad for USA-made wrenches. I bought them. I was sent Chinese wrenches. I was lied to. Shame on you Amazon.
