PORTER-CABLE PCC700B 20V MAX* LED Work Light

I bought this for my dad, but used it a little myself for a couple weeks as I hadn't been able to deliver it to him. It has a nice, comfortable over-mold non-slip handle, a good switch which is rubber-protected (waterproofed), and a flexible (movable) head that clicks into various positions. It throws a looong beam. I didn't measure the 'throw' but quite a long ways. That's what I was looking for ....not a diffused light. Yet it seems to light up the immediate area a fair amount too. There's only one light pattern...which I also like. I don't care for lamps which have multiple positions, colors or a flashing modes, most of which I don't use. This does one thing, and in my opinion, does it real well. You turn it on, or turn it off. That simple. Battery life seems good...I used it intermittently & never drained a 5ah battery enough to tell how power-hungry it is. The size is compact, it's attractive looking and Amazon price reasonable. I really can't find too many flaws. This is a nice little light, I like it so much I think I'm going to buy another one for myself!
