Pool Mate pH Up

I use sodium carbonate to tie dye natural fabrics. Until I tried Pool Mate's, I thought "sodium carbonate is sodium carbonate," but that's not true at all!! Pool Mate's didn't fix the dye-- I included side by side pics of hoodies I dyed using Pool Mate vs the other random brands I've used. Same dye, same technique, and same material, the only difference was in the sodium carbonate. And, not only did it not fix the dye, but it seems to have caused the fabric to pill, which might mean that it's diluted with another chemical. Skip this and buy literally any other sodium carbonate.
