Very Well Built Precision Kit
By Alec F1 on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2025
This kit and the items within it are built like a Porsche. Everything has exceptional fit and finish. The drivers click in and out perfectly and the drivers run smoother than any drive I've ever used. The bits are tough and precise and fit into a dense foam cut out for each piece in the kit. Nobody puts a kit like this in a nice metal box anymore, but Wiha does. I wish I could get more tools made by Wiha. It might be expensive, but you're buying a higher tier fit, finish, and material than something made in China with a weird invented name like CONEPAS.

A brand I love, but disappointed
By TechSpec on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2022
So, I am a bit disappointed as I love Wiha's small electronic tools. I received this set and the hex bits look like they had a casting problem? It appears they have noticeable divots in the ends of the hex bits while others just look concave on the bottom. I'm not sure how this is going to affect the bits over time, but I'm sure it will eventually as far as integrity. Also, something that concerned me a bit was that the faceplate on the ratchet has a gap at the top that is a little under 1 mm. I often stick these small ratchets in my pocket when working and the gap will introduce lint and all kinds of dirt, effectively reducing the life of the internal. It's not a big problem for me as I'll most likely take it apart and use a lubricant with PTFE, but not everyone wants to do that, nor should they have to. Ultimately, I issued this 3 star conclusion only because Wiha has a great durability/sturdiness track record as far as the past tools that I've purchased. And I'm sure this one specifically is a freak accident as well as I've also bought tools from their recent stock on different websites that have no physical defects at all and work like a champ. The two start knocked off are because of this products defects only. Edit: 5/18/2022 I have included a picture of the ratchet with out the faceplate on, along with the debris that made it's way inside before my use. Today is the first day of use, and the ratchets bidirectional toggle started to stick. There were about 4 pieces of debris stuck in the toggle switch.
