These visors do the job, day and night, summer and winter
By Orson Scott Card on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2019
When the leaves come off the trees, early morning and late afternoon glare makes it impossible to see stoplights without hurting your eyes. With a regular opaque visor, you block the sun if you can, but then peer around it to try to see when the light changes. I've found that both the yellow visor (night) and the clear visor (day) combine to make it possible to actually see the intersection and the signals. At night, the yellow visor makes the headlights of oncoming traffic fully visible yet not blinding -- not even when some inconsiderate person is running their high beams. In the daytime, the clear visor eliminates glare and dazzle from the sun and from reflections. If we get snow this year (a 50/50 chance where I live) I expect that daytime visor to make it painless to drive with the sun reflecting from fresh white snow. I bought a second set to take with me when I travel and need to rent a car. Once you get used to driving with these visors, it's so annoying to go back to regular opaque visors and a lot of squinting.

Mine came damaged :(
By Londo Bell on Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2020
It's from Warehouse Deal but in Like New condition. It was shipped with original packaging inside an Amazon brown box. 1 piece/box. Sadly, the original packaging was utterly destroyed (stated in the Like New condition), and what WASN'T listed was that the damage to the original box pretty much crushed the joints of the product in it (no foam or any other protection inside the package what-so-ever; so a clear plastics sleeve). The other issue was that, as an engineer myself, I could clearly see how the slotted mechanism that held the 2 plates (yellow and gray) would far after prolong use - I would give it about 3 months if used on a daily basis. The slots were shallow, made of low grade hard plastics. Once it failed, ,both plates would just dangle down. I knew because I used to build a lot of gunplas (web search this) and the low grade ones that were made in China used the same plastics. The joints of those gunplas would fail with minimal and infrequent positioning. Nevertheless, it's going back to Amazon due to the damages. Great product idea, poor manufacturing execution (gone cheap).
