These sound just as good as a more expensive set I owned!

After I bought these for myself, and was knocked out by their performance, I bought a back-up set and sets for my family. We're all still using them several years down the line, if that tells you anything! So score atop rating for durability! The price is right, too.Solid, natural bass, not boomy; at no time does it overpower the warm, clear mids, or the bright, crisp treble. I'm getting all of the sound I remember on the older, or newer songs I enjoy. It amazes me that such outstanding sound comes from these tiny speakers. I listen to a lot of music, and these deliver. Top rating for quality, there!Panasonic rocks!

Headphone review.
By Louis J. Bianco on Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2016
Initial review: the packaging suggests that this is old back-stock as it says iPod and CD. No one uses either of those anymore! The design of the headphones also tell me it's older as there is no clip or shaped rubber insert to keep it in your ears. The jack is an old school 90 degree angle, so it will not fit in my waterproof propriety case. I need a headphone extender which I misplaced. I put it somewhere to not lose it and forgot where I put it lol. So I need to take my phone apart to test the sound quality. Which means the reuse factor is n/a! Ok now that my phone is apart, let's listen to the headphones! I use beats headphones, so my hopes aren't that high! However; these headphones were $8 and change as opposed to $100-150 or more headphones.Taking the headphones out of the case the wire is very very thin. It's as thick as the twist tie wrapping it up. The headphones are labeled left and right and for my ears there is a snug fit. I do have to mention they have 3 sizes of ear inserts included. However; I am really not too fond of things inside my ear.Surprisingly; the base isn't bad. However; there is a deep basey sound and it's not super crisp like my sonos speakers. For $8 semi-disposable, "I don't care if I lose them in the gym or if they break" headphones they are great. I will bring them to the gym and plug them into the cardio equipment. At NYSC the onboard tv will not work unless headphones are plugged in. For that usage they are also perfect! I'll report back after I bring them to the gym tomorrow.
