Very Powerful Fan!
By CardsFan on Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2021
This is a very powerful fan!!!! Purchased it for our screen porch in St. Louis. It gets very hot and humid here and with a 10 foot ceiling the ceiling fan on the porch was hardly noticeable on hot days. In 95° weather the fan moves enough air to make it comfortable sitting 15 feet away. In fact, this morning when it was 75° the fan almost made it too cool. On the lowest setting the fan is not loud enough to be an irritant on our porch. For our use, it is never necessary to run it on the two highest settings which do result in much more noise. If considering a purchase, remember this is a very large fan most appropriate for outdoor use or a very large room. It is also significantly noisier than a traditional indoor fan. Assembly took about an hour and requires a metric wrench set. I would recommend assembling it where you’re going to use it as it is difficult to move once it is put together. Another tip: By removing the knob used to secure the fan height you can lower the fan an additional 12 inches which positions the fan at a better height to cool people in a sitting position. Prior to discovering this I was somewhat disappointed with the fan performance. The fan is heavy and appears well-made consisting of all metal components. All in all a wonderful large powerful air mover.

Quality Parts that don't fit together well
By bss on Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2022
This fan seems to have quality, heavy-duty components that just don't fit together very well. First, the delivery was terrible. Looked like the box had fallen off the truck and repaired with brown packaging tape. After assembly and operation, the blades and/or cage was bent which caused the blades to make contact with the cage causing an awful noise. After some bending back into place, it got better but would still make occasional contact. The knob that kept the height set was not long enough and the weight of the fan/motor was too heavy to keep it in place. The fan kept sliding back down to the lowest position. Additionally, in order to tilt the fan up/down, a bolt had to be loosened and tightened with tools. Even as tight as I could make it, it still was not strong enough to hold the fan in place and kept tilting down as low as it would go. This did a great job of keeping my feet cool, but that's about all.Next, in order to change from stationary to oscillating, a screw had to be removed and re-secured in a different position. To change it back to oscillating, the screw had to be replaced to the original position. This means the fan positioning (tilt and oscillation) cannot be adjusted without tools. Finally, the fan only had a single speed. When I pulled the chain, it started on high. Pulling it again did nothing. A third pull would turn it off.I thought this would be a perfect fan for my needs but in the end was just disappointed and wasted a lot time with the assembly and disassembly.
