Brondell UC300 Coral Water Filter System

We've now had the system in for just over a year, and are highly satisfied with all aspects. The water tastes fine -- L.A. water is high in chlorine and the filtration removes all traces. Particularly happy with the flow rate -- much better than previous (and expensive) Everpure system.. We purchased a designer make (expensive!) faucet to match the rest of our kitchen decor, and it allows for the rapid flow -- something to consider when purchasing a filtration system. But the filtration system needs to be able to allow the water to flow through fast enough. The literature claims that the filters last for 600 gallons/one year. We found this to be true. We changed out filters after 13 months, as the flow rate began to decrease slightly. Taste seemed fine, but we decided to follow manufacturer instructions. Our unit was installed professionally, as it was part of a kitchen remodel, but I could have done it myself.
