NOCO Boost Pro GB150 3000A Car Battery Jump Starter

Unit is about 6 months old, only used 2 times to start a neighbors car. Bought it mainly to keep in the truck for emergencies. Over the weekend I needed to power a 12v fluid transfer pump. Thought that instead of dragging out a heavy 12v car battery I'd use the Boost to power the pump. I thought wrong. Although the documentation says it can be used to power external 12v items it won't. I tried using both the battery clamps and the 12v power out port, nothing, not sure but it seems to keep looking for a battery. To make matters worse the power out port on the booster is a cigarette lighter type plug, I wired a plug to the pump but it still wouldn't work. Then I tried the usb charger to see if it would charge my iPhone....nope, nothing. I got out my DVM and checked the voltage coming from the 12v power out port, DVM reads .5v. (1/2 volt). It's good as a battery booster but that's it. NOCO doesn't have phone support, only email, I just sent them an email explaining the problem. Hope they respond. It really stinks paying almost $500 for something only to find out it doesn't work as advertised. Hopefully NOCO will respond and tell me how to fix the problem or warranty the unit
