Great little set!
By Artist on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2022
This is a great (quality) set for small jobs and small areas to loosen and tighten nuts and bolts. I had gotten one with the metric system which I like a lot, but I recently needed a standard American (Imperial) system when I realized the sockets were not fitting the nuts that needed tightening for a recent task. Since I liked the quality so much with the first one, I got this one as well. It’s so compact and the metal feels like quality metal. The ratchet sounds like it has a very fine toothed, precision gear. I would have liked one larger sized socket rather than the smallest size, which I’ll likely not use. But that’s just a personal preference. This is well worth the money. At the time of this purchase it was $77.00, U.S. There’s a lot in this little kit. I do simple tasks, and I don’t need large, heavy tools. I do like quality tools though, made with quality metals, and this set feels like that to me. It will be a great companion to my Leatherman tools. I was needing a ratchet fro some time now, and they don’t make one.. I definitely recommend this set if you like quality compact tools. When I’ve used it for a while and really feel it’s been given a good test, I will update this review.

I am not really sure if this was a good purchase..

Check out the measurements of the set in the pictures posted. The bits seem strong and functional as well as the ratchet. It's teeny tiny. I like the size. The case is the reason I bought the set. Unfortunately, the case is poorly designed and flimsy. The slider that holds the ratchet in place fell off and was lost, after the first hour of use. This leaves the ratchet unsecured and does not stay attached, at all. It must have happened when going in and out of my pocket. The driver holder is not secure and will not hold up. I saw others replaced the plastic fasteners that hold the driver holder on, but I doubt, even with metal fasteners, the plastic holder will hold up to everyday use. The locking bit holder/extension broke on the first day too. I did put some force on it, when removing it from another extension, but feel it should have handled it. The belt clip is useless. It is a flexible piece of plastic that can pop off with little pressure. The housing, on the case, for the sockets is not covered. They haven't come loose yet, but I think eventually I will lose a socket from being open. The sockets can only be placed in the holder the way the square female end allows for it to be inserted. The identification printing on the sockets don't all line up properly to be seen when attached. There are marking on the case as well, but those markings are not as convenient. I do like the color on the sockets for Identifying the size. The 1-inch bits are nice and strong. I like that they are easy to pull out of the holder. There are two rows that are on a hinge. The hinge allows them to face out of the whole case, and even allows the two rows of bits to be spaced so fingers can get between them. This allows for easy removal of a single bit with big fingers. It could be nice if the driver could double as an extension handle for the short ratchet, but I don't know if this would be an easy engineering design. I am not sure if this will meet my needs. It has most of what I want in a pocket set but the functionality of the case isn't quite there on its execution.
