My favorite tool I own so far.

This review is for anyone who has never used any kind of nailer like this. Because that was me. When I was searching and researching Brad Nailers I kinda knew what I was looking for but not really. I knew I wanted it to be cordless. I didn't wanna have to buy anything separate to make the thing work. I wanted something that wasn't complicated to use and safe. But I wanted it to be powerful for what I need it for. This nailer is amazing and far exceeded my expectations. It did jam a couple of times but that's to be expected. But getting the jammed nails out is super easy. Battery life is awesome. When you hold this thing it feels like it's worth what your paying for it. I highly recommend buying this. Loading the brads is really easy. And for all you ladies out there who might be a little nervous, don't be. I was a little intimidated at first but this thing has so many safety features you will be fine. Super easy to use. You can adjust how far you want your nails to go in. It has good weight to it. I just love this thing. Buy it..you won't regret it. To the men out there. Yes..it's tough. Does exactly what it claims to do. Goes through thick wood like butter. Lots of power and the thing is big.

Limited durability and limited product support

I bought this for personal use 6 years ago. I'm a amateur woodworker who has used this nailer for one or two small projects a year for the past 6 years, With this type of usage the product is in mint condition but recently stopped firing nails. I used the online manual, other online resources to troubleshoot the cause. I bought a new battery to eliminate the problem without success. The nail path is wide open without obstruction. I contacted equipment repair shops in our area and none work on Porter Cable gear. The nearest PC repair place is an hours drive away with guarantee of a hefty bench fee to just look at it but no guarantee that any repair would be worth the cost.with the low intensity use that I've put this nailer through, I expected a more durable tool. I'll get a replacement nailer but it won't be a Porter Cable.
