Perfect for small item PHOTOGRAPHY! | Pure, WHITE light w/ no yellow or "soft" tint. | Phillips is top rated, by CONSUMER REPORTS, & why I purchased the brand. | Local store brand bulbs, cost the same $$$, but dim to 1/2 the brightness after using a month. | Will purchase more & plan to buy lower wattage for household fixtures!

They are as bright as daylight

They do resemble daylight. It's a white white light, probably best to get a softer light for rooms. Using them at night is very jarring. I use them in my living room lamps. Its weird that they are so bright, but they don't illuminate very far. I'll probably end up switching them out soon.
