2' Decorative Fireplace Log Holder

Very poor quality control. Three of the 8 nuts in my package were not internally threaded and had to be cleaned up with a tap. This destroys the thread locking washer, so a little loctite is useful if you have to do this. IIRC, they were M5-0.8 threaded (maybe M6-1.0 ?) The annoying thing is that the other 5 nuts were threaded onto bolts in the bag, so someone clearly wasn't able to thread the 3 bad nuts on and made a conscious decision to just throw them in the bag anyway. Also on the subject of fasteners, black ones would be much nicer than the bright ones provided. Of course, given the quality, one might just replace them with black fasteners from the hardware store to avoid buying metric taps. It does hold firewood and has not collapsed, exploded, or started producing noxious fumes.
