I've had my Alexapure filter system for 3 years. These filters work! Once you get used to drinking the filtered water, tap water smells and tastes can't be tolerated.

Defective, maybe conterfit

Don't know what the story is with these and this seller. The filters were pre primed as usual but the water level was really low. They weren't working. I contacted Alexapure customer support and they gave me a few options. The one that worked was to put them update down in water up to the opening and let them sit for 72 hours for the air bubbles to come out. At least they are partially working, but still not quite right. Don't know if they are conterfits, or were just improperly stored, or if they are old. Note this seller nor any on Amazon are an authorized reseller (as the Alexapure CS related to me). Was a hassle, will probably have to replace them in a month or two. Really felt ripped off with this one.
