Tricky to get to rewind

You have to pull it out a long ways before it will rewind properly. Annoying when I only want 10 feet or so of hose. Other than that it works great.

Works great. I have it hanging from the ceiling. The only thing is it only clicks about every foot or so. And it will only lock in place while you hear the clicking. This means you will have to keep pulling a bit past the length to need till you hear the clicking. But overall a solid well made product and would buy again if given the choice.

This is a nice solid reel, works perfectly in my home garage. People who complain about not being able to bolt it in need a ratcheting box end wrench :) But the reel has worked perfectly so far, no leaks, holds well, reels in and out perfectly.
It does what it reports to do, and it does it just fine.

This low-cost solution is not junky at all. The hose pulls out, stops, and retracts with a short tug. Mounts easily with included fasteners. Also has adapters for the included air hose - they go above and beyond by including fasteners and hose adapters.

First, I have 2 of the Reel works electric cord reels and I was very happy with them, so I went for their air hose reel. As a reel, it's ok for a home 20 x 45 work shop, BUT the yellow hose they use could be a better grade, even though they think it is! It would be nice to have a super flexible 3/8" hose for speed of use and less weight for air gun use. Also, sometimes the reel does not pull the hose back because of the stiffer thickness. It's not a "cheap" unit, so I think they could improve some aspects of it.

Okay reel, does the job, but it has clearance issues between the hose and the case if you're not careful when letting the hose retract.
