Impressed!! And then disgusted :(
By Guy-who-buys-things on Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2019
*7/8/19* Ok so I literally just got this unboxed and set up so this only a review based on first impressions and I’ll update this review with any future developments. First impression, I’m definitely impressed! This is a very nice kit and was super easy to set up and connect to the WiFi. I like that you can adjust the light settings, starting off, the herbs need 17 hours of light. I set it to turn on at 2am and off at 7pm so the lights don’t bother us while we’re in the living room and the sun starts to set. I have it on my kitchen counter and the breakfast bar opens up to the living room. The manual says the pump only comes on for an hour every 12 hours (at least at first, not sure about how often it comes on during vegetation) so I haven’t heard the pump yet and I’m just hoping that it comes on when it’s supposed to and everything is fine. •EDIT: Pump actually was on, SUPER quiet!!!• I noticed a lot of bad reviews on this and was hesitant to purchase but the WiFi version was inexplicably cheaper than the standard version (by A LOT) so I rolled the dice anyway. But it didn’t go unnoticed that the standard version had the most negative reviews and the WiFi version seemed to be up to par judging from the reviews. I’m excited to see what happens, I’ll be back soon with more info! *7/8/19* *9/6/2020* Very late update here but this gardening system is now disassembled and collecting dust in a closet. I loved it, it worked wonderfully and grew beautiful & bountiful herbs but one day late last year I came home to a literal swarm of flies in my condo. I’m talking at least a hundred, it was horrifying and I spent about three days vacuuming up flies because of it. I don’t know why or how but this system either attracted flies or they came from the plants themselves, as soon as I discovered that the flies were coming from/attracted to this system I took it apart and haven’t had a single fly since. Such a disappointment because I truly loved the fresh herbs and watching them grow but after the nightmare with the flies I never used it again.

Beware, Aerogarden did not stand behind their faulty product!
By DP on Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2021
Unfortunately, I purchased this unit as open box in very good condition during Covid in an attempt to feed my family clean food. The light on the unit failed after only 7 months. After contacting Aerogarden and the seller Auralware LLC, neither would stand behind the purchase. The seller told me the unit was only a couple of months old, in very good condition. That was false. Aerogarden would not replace or even tell me how to repair the unit although they have a 1 year warranty stated on their products. So, after 8 months, I am out over $500 with no recourse. Beware buying from Aerogarden or the seller Auralware LLC. To sell an expensive product without replacement parts is not consumer friendly.
