Love the brand and all their products. This is probably my 5-6 light strip add on. Pairing is a little tricky as none of them from Amazon come with the QR code in the box.

LIFX Light Strips: So-So due to cornering and stickiness
By Geoff Ables on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2017
Update after 2 years of working with LIFX bulbs:I like the idea of these types of bulbs. But LIFX has been a constant source of new home maintenance. The app frequently disconnects from bulbs, requiring re-setting. That's not a huge deal, but when you're doing it for 1-2 bulbs every month, it's a hassle you just don't need. Particularly when you tend to let it go and deal with the inconvenience of a disconnected bulb for a week or two before you can get to it.After 2+ years I've had two bulbs fail. These are expensive bulbs, and the warranty expires after two years. Dropping that much money to replace bulbs that are supposed to work for many years isn't acceptable.LIFX seems to be having issues. When checking to replace my broken bulbs, it looks like the same bulb is now on "pre-order" and they aren't available at all on Amazon. If you want to get 1 or 2 LIFX bulbs as a novelty, that's fine. But don't fill your house with these things. Not only will you spend a lot of money, but you'll have a lot of new headaches.-----Original review:I love my LIFX lights. But there are a few things to beware of:* If your LIFX light doesn't "cloud connect" when you install it, then it isn't going to work on Alexa and will have mixed results with the LIFX app. It's pretty simple to fix (just delete the light and re-add it, then "claim" it in the app). But understanding why it isn't working and the process to fix it isn't intuitive.* These LIFX strips are cool, but: the instructions say that you can make a 90-degree turn as you place them - my experience is that this is very difficult to do. The sticky material on them also tends to be somewhat weak - one set that I have placed under a credenza overhang is constantly coming unstuck, and I've had to apply tape to keep it up.I'm pretty happy with my other LIFX lights overall. But I wouldn't recommend the light strips.
