My Favorite light duty driver
By J. Shoffner on Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2017
This was a gift perhaps 2 years ago & I love it. I use it randomly on handyman projects. It has amazing torque and in it's "hay-day", was my favorite "gadget" tool. It turns at about 175rpm and not designed to be a speed drill or to accomplish commercial tasks. Then the batteries would no longer hold a charge. I got 2-3 good years from a rechargeable tool and can't decide if it should have been more. I get similar life from Craftsman and B&D. This would be perfect if the battery was user friendly. Still, a great little tool.. Update: Didn't realize that they made it "perfect" with a removable battery. Just bought the FlipOut2, haven't used it yet, but I will. This is a true "upgrade"; feels superior, sections fit together better, replaceable battery and you can use the original carry case! Accordingly, I upgraded my score to 5 stars.

FAIL
By Ian B. Danziger on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2018
UPDATE2: oil solution didn’t stick. Product is a fail. UPDATE: I added some gun oil into the hole in the handle where you can see the motor. Now it actually turns like it should and seems to run more smoothly. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Really wanted to like this but can't. The advertised features are amazing and the device certainly clicks into all the positions they say, and it has a light, etc.... but .. but... after inserting the fully charged (green light) lithium ion battery, the unit barely made a single turn. Finally after repeatedly pressing the trigger, it started going all the way around and picked up speed. Changed directions and turned it on, not very powerful or consistent in speed even with the variable speed trigger at max. So left my electric screwdriver (can't really call it any kind of power tool) and tried it again next day... no power at all.. nothing happened. Charged battery again and then same sluggish iffy response. I think the cheapest Black and Decker electric screwdriver would be better than this. Also when it DOES choose to work, it is very noisy.
