10/27/24. Still working replacing batteries about every 10 months. App is getting better. 7/17/23 finger print reader still dead but code still works and wifi working great, replacing batteries twice a year. 2/23/21 update. Fingerprint reader dead. The sun pounding on the system finally killed the fingerprint reader (9/2020 ish) The touch function of keypad works. Kids don't use door much. So the only issue is keeping batteries fresh. Almost got locked out of house (Loss of power to neighborhood). Had to have an in law bring key. So Yeah I did get locked out, from dead batteries in UL3. My fault. The app doesn't seem to report if the battery is low, like critically low. Still able to use, more so during summer months. 6/16/19 update. All good sill. Only problem was i frgot to share with the wife her pass code and seems like controls to program finger prints from phone to lock is spotty. I did also install a wifi mesh system in house to extend coverage to this door. (My first router was a little too far and had to pass through too many walls, checkout the Asus brand for Ai meshed) Now the wireless bridge function works flawlessly. After install (new) I have been using this lock for a few months. And so far this has been an amazing lock. My 8 year old and 12 year old actually fight over who's opening the door. Each gets a code of their choosing and back up fingerprints. Of course the master user and 4th the wife. The newer of the apps work flawlessly. It's only bluetooth out of the box but they sell a bridge that makes it a wifi compatible from smartphones. Installation was super east. The lock faces West on side door and is exposed to most weather conditions. The kid's (major users) have expressed zero complaints despite using it 5 days a week for 8 weeks. Love how it immediately locks after jus a few seconds. The door is locked by the time it closes. No more complaining about who forgot to lock the door. Plan on getting the L1 setup for the front door.

Biometric does not work, dim display, and eats batteries.

Final update: Dropping the review to 1 stars. Well the fingerprint reader has stopped working completely an I am replacing batteries every other week. What seemed like a good buy is not that. I could live with it not doing the biometric but 6 batteries a month is out of hand. The last set lasted less than a week. Must be something wrong with it or the Bluetooth is just eating them up. Just sending it back for a refund. They need to do some more QA on it before I would consider it again. Wait for version 2.1. Update: so the replacement has been installed for a couple of weeks now and it is cold and rainy. Well the finger print scanner will not even fire the lock up. Even if I manually activate it the scanner does not work. That part of the lock is crap. The key pad is also unreadable when the sun is out bright. Those are the two flaws in this lock. Other than that it is a solid lock. They need to do some testing and come out with a 2.0 version. The first door lock I received and installed had a biometric reader that could not read finger prints. 2 times out of 10 it would read something but always post failure. Exchanged it and the second one seemed to be better at first but now does not seemed to read them either. From what I have tried it would seem that you need to get you finger in the perfect place for it to read it and then would need to be in the same place to get it to open the door. have not been able to get a finger print to work for an admin code. Other than the fingerprints this is a solid lock. The mechanism is very solid works well with the codes. I have not tried the BT options as yet. Disappointed but over all it works well without the finger print. Bottom line don't think that you are going to have quick access with a fingerprint because you will stand there a couple of minutes trying to get it to read but will give up because it is 19 outside and your now freezing. So you just punch in the code.
