Perfect replacement for a Watts N35B

The incoming fitting seems to be "universal". This item came has a threaded NPT pipe fitting on the incoming side, but you just take that out and reuse the original that's still attached to your incoming pipe (in my case, a sweated copper pipe). The fitting comes with a new O-ring that fits both types. The old nut on the fitting perfectly fit the new threads. To be clear, Watts makes different types that use an identical body and they vary the incoming fitting for the application. But that only matters for new work; for a replacement, you just reuse your original fitting and toss the new one in your parts box (you never know when plumbing parts may come in handy...). The length was identical to the N35B, the output fitting matches the N35B's. It really was set at 50PSI as advertised. I easily adjusted mine to the desired 60PSI.

Installation was pretty straightforward and seemed to work for a couple of days. On the third day, any time I would turn on any faucet or flushed the toilet, the pipe coming out of the regulator would make a loud buzzing noise. The pressure was also very erratic. I checked this with a pressure gauge from an outside faucet. I called a plumber and had them switch out the unit to different regulator and the problem was solved. The seller of the nonfunctioning unit communicated well with me and I got a refund from Amazon.
