AmazonBasics Rounded Square Cabinet Knob

I really liked this knob because the knob was 1 piece- not a piece for the top knob that was welded to the stem that attaches to the door. I got 3, 10 packs and every single one of them had this little tack-like thorn near the spot where the screw goes in. It looks like it is designed to grip your cabinet to prevent turning as others have said but I do not want another pinhole in my cabinet that could potentially grow with each turn and eventually have a huge mark. As I said all 3 boxes had this so it feels intentional and not like a flaw…..but it’s so frustrating the pictures don’t show this. I’d try ordering another 3 boxes but it really feels Intentional and I’m not sure I want to carefully file down 30 of these pinlike thorns. What a bummer because the color is awesome.
