DEWALT DCN680B 20V MAX* XR® 18 GA Brad Nailer

I have a plethora of DeWalt tools and overall they're a solid "B" when it comes to the competition. I have some projects in the hopper and bought this 18GA Brad nailer to help out. The DeWalt tool is super heavy and bulky. It's hard to get into tight spaces with it as a result of the size, and holding it at an angle is uncomfortable because of the weight. It's much louder than I expected as it spins up and drives the nails. I haven't tried doing multiple, but it sounds like it needs to rev up each time. For comparison, I have a small air compressor tank that I've been using in the past. It's amazing and the only real downside is having to lug the tank around. That's where I decided a battery nailer would come in handy. But the air nailer is light and easy to use. The tank is loud when filling, but outside of that it's much quieter. You do have to lug the tank to where you're at, but once it's there, you don't have to hold anything extra heavy. The power on this seems fine and it drives nails in on all but one that I had to do at an angle (due to the bulkiness). Hard to say, but I think the air compressor nailer would have driven it in though. Overall it works and isn't horrible, just not at all what I expecting at this price. 3 Stars.
