Supports 345lbs easily. Good quality.

I'm 5'8" 345lbs and I use this all the time. I'm even able to sit sideways and pull my feet up in it. I've been using it for a bit and don't see any signs of it breaking or wear and tear. I was afraid it wouldn't fit on my balcony but it does. One helpful note regarding the space it takes up. I was concerned of having it close to the sliding glass door. But its actually fine to have an arm against (or up very close to) the sliding door because when you sit in it, it contracts. (duh, seems obvious now) But if you're concerned about the space it takes up that could be helpful info. Also, measurements are for the widest part, up top. It's more rectangle, than square because the arms widen at the top. For the price this is a really good quality item. I do see some spots where it looks like rust is developing a bit. I'm not sure if that's normal or no big deal. If needed I'll come back and change this review. But so far I'm very happy with this purchase.

Can't wholeheartedly recommend
By Kristen on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2018
I have another Sunnydaze hammock I love and bought this one so my daughter and I could both chill in the backyard. We call this one a chammock (chair+hammock). The quality of the chammock is not as high as the other hammock. There are some loose threads around the edges. The ropes on the regular hammock are wrapped around a metal ring so when they sit on the hooks it is metal on metal. The ropes on the chammock are not. This means the ropes are directly on the hook itself. I don’t know if this will end up being a problem, but it just seems less sturdy. It is higher up than I expected which makes it a little awkward for shorter people to get into, though not impossible. You can’t touch the ground to swing yourself. When sitting, the back of my legs get a bit sore where they hang off the edge. A cushioned edge would be very nice. Even my 70 pound kid finds this part uncomfortable so I imagine a heavier person would find it even less comfortable. Also, there isn’t as much of a “pouch” when sitting, so it is just like a flat chair. I worked around this by wrapping the front 2 ropes up around the hook to lift it up a couple inches. Finally, it is very hard to move the chammock stand around. Two people are needed and the rubber feet on the bottom have to be fixed each time. Overall, I was disappointed in the chammock and can’t wholeheartedly recommend it.
