Multimeter is a must have tool if working on anything electric in car or home. This one seem to have decent balance of specs, features, price and a solid reputation. Found it useful to troubleshoot some car battery issues and fuses, used temp probe when fixing AC, tested some faulty switches at home - this unit worked fine for all of those uses. I wish it came with few different probes - hooks, clamps etc. but you can get them separately

Huge, mode selection if finicky

Very large. Despite the size the model selector doesn’t utilize the full 360 degrees so to select commonly used modes like continuity you need to press multiple buttons.
