Great for hanging egg chairs! (Update)
By Vicki on Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2017
*Update July 2020* I've owned it for awhile now. It hasn't ever tipped. I've moved this to my back patio and absolutely love it. It's my go to for my morning coffee. I've had my two energetic boys and their friend sitting in the chair with them swaying in the chair and I don't worry about it tipping. This is such a great stand and makes it very easy to clean around. The black caps that cover the poles come off a lot and I'll need to remove a little bit of rust in that area. That's just normal maintenance though. I'm so happy with my purchase and really feel safe in it. I have tripped on the legs a couple times but that was from me not paying attention. They do stick out far so keep that in mind. I was going through a lot of chemo and was very unsteady so I really needed a sturdy stand. This is still one of my favorite buys. I've been researching different stands for my hanging egg chair. Finally came across this one and bought it after reading the reviews. Very sturdy stand. I don't worry about it tipping to the side. Really great that the bottom is open so I can easily vacuum. I was able to put it together by myself. Took a couple tries to line up the bolts. No tools needed. Only difficulty was putting the stabilizers on. You have to pull each side outward and quickly place it on the pole before you attach it to other poles. The poles did have a couple small scratches but that happens. It was really packaged well with each pole bubble wrapped. Highly recommend this stand. I use my chair every day now. Thank you for such a great product!

Need Assembly instructions/tips
By erin on Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2025
No assembly instructions provided with product and couldn't find one online, so here are some tips: 1. You'll need 2 people to assemble 2. Assemble from the top down, we had to remove the plate from the top tubes to assemble 3. First loosely attach wingnuts so you can twist the tubes to accommodate the desired installation, then tighten everything 4. Allow for about 30mins to assemble and be patient. It appears to be very sturdy, no issues yet!
